Who it is for

For people who already use AI systematically and now want to build their own agents.

You want your processes to keep running when you’re not at your desk. To get there, you work with coding agents. These are AI tools that create files, run processes and check their own results.

Day 1 · Build

Wednesday · 09:00 to 16:00

  • How a coding agent differs from a chatbot
  • Start safely: set permissions and review changes
  • Before you build, define what a good result looks like
  • Build a tool for the sample company in the case pack
  • Solve the same task with a second coding agent
  • Write a handbook the agent uses to look up its rules
Day 2 · Run

Thursday · 09:00 to 18:00

  • Turn recurring processes into written instructions
  • Connect the agent to your inbox, spreadsheets and files
  • Have a second agent check the result
  • Run processes on a schedule, with fixed rules, a log and a cost limit
  • Check the risks around data and access
  • When you need to bring in IT
Day 3 · Roll out

Friday · 09:00 to 12:45

  • Break your team’s work down into individual tasks
  • 5 levels of agent autonomy, from “suggests” to “runs on its own”
  • Build your own agent, in pairs and with the tutors
  • Decide who is responsible, keep an inventory of your agents and review them regularly

A plan and the certificate

You decide which tasks agents take on and who is responsible for them. Once you pass the exam and complete a short final questionnaire, you receive the certificate.

Questions about CAAIE Advanced.

When is the next cohort?

In April 2027. The exact date is not fixed yet. If you join the waiting list, we let you know as soon as registration opens.

Do I need programming skills?

No. You describe what the agent should do, check the result and decide whether it’s right. The coding agent writes the code.

Do I have to take the Certified Applied AI Expert first?

No. Without the Certified Applied AI Expert certificate, you first complete the online pre-program and pass a short self-test. Both are required in that case. If you have questions, write to us at info@caaie.ch.

How does the exam work?

You take it within 72 hours of the end of the program. The first 3 attempts are free; after that, each attempt costs CHF 100.

Do we work with real company data?

No. You work with the CAAIE case pack and build a version of a case from your own work, without real personal data.

Which tools do we use?

We use 2 coding agents that read the same open file formats, so your work runs in both. We keep updating the selection.
